Fabric: 55% Hemp/45% Cotton More about hemp fabric: The hemp plant comes in many varieties, one of which is the marijuana plant. Industrial hemp, the plant used to make hemp fabric is completely different and safe to use. It does not contain the same drug-inducing properties. Hemp fabric is gaining popularity as one of the most environmentally friendly fibers. It requires no pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and only requires a small amount of water to grow. Hemp fiber has naturally anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Hemp is very porous, so the fabric is quite breathable. This also means that it takes dye beautifully.
