"I just can't wait to hold her," is what my husband said about a week before our daughter was born. After she was born, I was back in the ER with a DVT (blood clot) in my leg. I was stuck in bed for several weeks and my baby was, too. When I was better, she wanted to be constantly close to me. Even though she was a mere 7 pounds (on a good day), my neck and back began aching for carrying and holding her so much. I discovered babywearing from a friend who shared her pouch with me. My baby was fussy and when I put her in the pouch, she was instantly calmed and I was comfortable because her weight was evenly distributed. Because I have had such a wonderful experience with Babywearing, I wanted to share that experience with others and that is how Heavenly Hold came about.
My family and I live in Georgia, but he is from Illinois and I am from California. My husband and I have been married for 6 years and we have a son and two daughters.
